04.07.2022
The main goal of this project is to protect and rehabilitate turtles in need of assistance, as well as to prevent threats to their species.
This truly unique project was implemented in 2004, with the support of the UAE Wildlife Trust. Since then, more than 500 turtles have been assisted and released into the wild. Some turtles have satellite sensors attached to them, enabling them to follow their movements and study the life of the endangered species.
To see these amazing animals visit the Turtle Lagoon located within the Jumeirah Al Naseem Hotel and open daily. Turtle feeding takes place on Wednesdays at 11:00am.
